Sorry about the quality, and the lateness. It seems that I never have time for my art these days, so not only is this the first piece of art I did in 2.5 months, but it's kinda my first anthro piece (one rough anthro sketch can be found in my scraps but it was really small). Heh I did dozens of roughs, and racked my brain for ideas, I came up with hundreds but none fitted, one kept coming back up but the timing was wrong for it. So I just finally sat down and let my mind draw what I could;

As life goes on, we learn of paths new and old
we learn the history, of the patient and the bold
we see kings of great might, fallen and slain
be see statues of false gods, those who died in their name
may you learn and grow as time moves on,
may you do what is right, yet learn from what is wrong.

Ps, the girl in this piece is a statue, made of stone. She was once living but since was slain. She was once a sage, of nature or good but no one knows now, and no one can find out lest they shatter the remaing arm around the book, which even the tree holds to protect.
